Fishing was a little slow on Roosevelt as compared to the last trip. We were catching nothing up until 5pm when I broke the streak with two small largemouth bass.

All those little specks around me are the millions of bugs that were out in full force this weekend. You didn't turn your headlamp on very long or you'd be eating a ton of bugs.

Cole striking a pose with the old person sunglasses I had to buy at the Marina. The sunglasses now reside on the boat, so if you forget your sunglasses you can certainly borrow these.

Cole came up with a gameplan to put out the Crappie light and fish in the trees. It pays off as we start pulling in some crappies.

Then we pull into the cove by the boat launch to drop anchor for the night and go to sleep. Cole decides to fish a little longer and pulls in this big catfish. His biggest fish ever.

We tried fishing in the morning but nothing was biting so we did a quick run up the the salt river section of the lake. It goes up quite a bit further than we went. It was beautiful up there though.
