July 4th 2006 - Lake Powell Trip

Just waiting for our houseboat to show up to pre-board for the night.
While waiting to get on our houseboat, we take shelter from the wind blown sand on the pontoon boat.	Sunset over Wahweap marina on July 4th.
We got to stay on the houseboat the night before our rental started. Looks like Matt is getting ready for bed.
Mike gashed his thumb open on a burst beer can in the cooler. The houseboat hasn't even left the dock and we're doing first-aid.	Dan crashed on his boat the next morning (Wed 5th)

Wow, three stories	If you look close you can see Rob floating there in the water.
	I'm still amazed with the logistics of running the Dangling Rope marina in the middle of the lake. With no road access, everything comes and goes by water. Here's one of the supply barges bringing back a full trash container, an empty fuel barge and an empty semi-trailer.
	Cool cave near where we camped for the first two days.
	There's our houseboat. It caught up with us.
