On my way on I40 headed from Havasu to Lake Powell, I see this geodesic sphere out there.

I have no idea what it was. Kinda looks like some eccentric artist's home.

The burnt out remains of a boat in the parking lot at the Lake Powell Lodge. Someone had a bad weekend.

One of the many tour boats on the lake this week. They can kick up a wake that's no fun to traverse.

Speedboat and Canoe in tow.

Some of the houseboats on powell are just incredible. That one in front looks like it has 4 or 5 bedrooms (staterooms) setup partially below the waterline.

Antelope point boat launch. Back in July this was in the water, now it's out. Even the boat launch at the lodge was out of the water and extended with metal grates.

We heard about a houseboat that had an accident, but never imagined this.

No, that's not two boats that collided. The part on the left is the second floor of the boat. It flipped over in the flat wake zone by Antelope Point Marina. No clue how they flipped it.

This was one of the 75 foot rental houseboats we heard they've been having problems with. Well, here's one less boat for them to have trouble with.
