This is the roof of the houseboat. In 2001 we had a 46' houseboat. I think there was more sleeping space on the roof of the 46' foot houseboat because this houseboat has a cover over the front of the roof.

This was a fun channel we explored in the pontoon boat. It went quite a ways back, winding it's way into the desert until it ends up at a narrow sandy beach.

That's the channel. That's a dry rotted seat back. Arizona's sun is excellent at destroying boat interiors.

Kim forgot her shoes and had to wear my Teva's to enter the restroom.

With lake levels low, there are new things to see. There's this huge cave/overhang structure. That's probably a 25' deck boat in front of the opening giving a good idea of the size of the cave.

We went out in the pontoon and the rental boat for a bit of night fishing and someone catches her first fish.

You have to kiss your first fish.

Here's the part that sucks. In 2001 we could take off straight from the Wahweap Marina and go across the bay to the rest of the lake. Because of the low lake levels, you now have to navigate this channel to get to the lake.
On day one, we took water over the front of the pontoon several times. One time a wave broke the front gate open and filled the pontoon with 6" of water on the deck. We had to open a back gate to let the water out faster.
