Just a house on Bell Road south of Bensen that we thought was cute.

Now we're headed to Cochise stronghold. It's out there in those hills.

All in all, Cochise stronghold was a disappointment. After going past countless cabins with "No Trespassing" signs with tall fences hiding them, there was a small parking lot "campground". It was really quite ugly. We saw these two deer on our way out at least.

In the mountains northeast of Safford. East of Morenci. Highway 191 was closed north of Morenci, so we head east into New Mexico.

I was wondering why on earth this road was going from the middle of nowhere in Arizona to the middle of nowhere in New Mexico.
|
|
 |
Ok,this is freaky. This is a picture of a couple riding on a Harley. I then turned left and took the next picture of the Arizona border. Immediately after this I hear the Harley rev up, a scraping crash and then the chilling scream of a woman. Why didn't they show up in the picture?

Just beyond that blue sign the motorcycle left the road and crashed into the dirt. It was a slow speed crash. The passenger's leg was banged up, and that was about it. We provided some assistance in getting them going again and headed east into New Mexico.

Hey, here's where the "BAT CAVE" is!

We headed north in New Mexico for a ways, then turned west back towards Arizona. This was east of Springerville, Az.
