2003 January 31st - First ski trip for the season. 48" base and more snow arrives. All three mountains open at sunrise.

It's Z's turn to drive up to Pinetop for skiing.
It starts off with pretty good snow. A little bit of powder on top (2" or so). Wait...it get's better though.

Tried taking a picture of the one rock I saw. It was right next to the lodge midway up the mountain. It's that rock that usually there when there's less than 10 feet of snow.
The fur hat started shedding. May have to get something new.

Now this is more like it. Snow, snow and more snow coming down. A few times it became a white-out.

This is looking down fareway/pinedale run. The lodge is right there at the bottom, but you can't see it because of the snow.
