Thursday, July 3rd I roll out of Tucson after the sun goes down to ride I-10/191 to Safford in the cool evening air. The next morning I start out in the farmland of Safford to cruise up AZ 191 through Clifton, Morenci and Alpine on my way to Pinetop for the weekend.

I'm heading for those small mountains on the horizon.
|
Early in the trip and I already have a wonderful lime-green bug splatter on my helmet. Yum!
|
 Still heading for those mountains.

"Curves and Mountain Grades...Next 25 Miles". That's why I'm here. That first 15 mph turn is a great introduction. The curves actually continue for quite awhile longer, because at the end of 25 miles there's another sign for more curves and mountain grades. Not sure what they add up to.

Ok, there's a huge gap between the previous photo and here. I was having just too much fun on the twisties to stop and take photo's. This is the main lodge at Hannagan's Meadow.

 This, apparently, is Hannagan's Meadow.

Ok, now we jump forward to Pinetop. Dan and Tiffan fish, while we all watch.
|
The proof. Tiffany is actually fishing.
