Eeeek, tar snakes! Ok, they weren't too bad. It was cool enough that the tar snakes weren't too slippery.

A cool couple from Vancouver, B.C. I met in Arivaca. Thomas & Michelle.

A view on the way up. Nothing like the overlook just below the top of the Mountain.
There's Michelle tearing up the mountain on her VFR.
That's me. That's a telescope in the background too.
It was a little hazy in the desert and the mountains looked like little islands out there.
It was around 4pm and every once and awhile you would come around a curve and you'd leave dark shade and ride into bright sunlight. Visibility would get a little poor at these times.
A couple of telescopes. I arrived too late to do any tours. Tours stop at 4pm and supposedly the road closes at 4pm too. On our way out the gate coming in was closed, so we just squeeked onto the mountain.
There's Michelle and Thomas. A bit of caution should be exercised near the top of the mountain as there's a bit of sand in some turns up here.
Oooo, look at that road down there. There are no pictures of that here. Sorry, I was to busy riding it. It was a BLAST!
