...looking south.

Out there towards the horizon, just before those mountains is some desert with Palmilla Cactus. You'll see some pictures of it later.

Hrmmm, a road I've never been on. Cimarron road heads east off of highway 83 just south of Sonoita...

Ok, that was a fun little side road. It ends up at a west gate for Ft. Huachuca. If I wanted to go to Sierra Vista, they would have let me cut through the base. There's nothing intersting in Sierra Vista, so I turned around at the gate and headed back to Sonoita.

Oh ya, on 83 south of Sonoita at this little town called Canello, there's some water in the road. Everytime I've gone by here, there's water. It's like it's a spring or something that flows across the road. Cattle like to hang out around here and drink water.

Remember that photo earlier that I said there was a desert of on the horizon? Here it is.

To get here, I turned east towards Elgin (Southern Arizona's wine country) and curved around north towards highway 82.

Interesting swirls on that mountain. I wonder how that happened.

Ok, that's it. A little further north is highway 82 and west back to Sonoita and the Steak-Out and some grub. We basically did a big loop from Sonoita south, then east, north and back west to Sonoita.
