Got into the ride and forgot I had a camera. This is on the way back from Arivica.
Part of the road to Arivaca.
Hate to get stuck behind these.
Off to the side of the road is this HUGE teepee and a peace sign on a hill.
 Ah, the dreaded cattle gate/grate.
Metal rails across the road that cattle won't walk across. A bit slippery.
There's this one curve that seems wonderful. You're crusing along, and this turn is banked nicely. Real comfortable to fly around, until you come across the cattle grate in the middle of the curve. I added another crease in my seat on this one.
The Cow Palace. The food is alright. It's a nice place to stretch the legs during a ride and a good staging area for rides to Arivaca.
Across the street from the Cow Palace is the Long Horn grill. There's also a mini-mart and that's about it for Amado.
So I'm cruising south from Amado on I-19 heading to the highway that leads to Sonoita. I forgot what the highway number was and exited at highway 289. Wrong exit, but it leads west towards Pena Blanca lake. What a find! It was a great little ride from the interstate to the lake.
A nice little picnic area. Hrmm, someday I'll have to bring some charcoal and burgers.
Upper Thumb Rock picnic grounds at Pena Blanca Lake. I'll have to remember this place.
There's this real fun 15mph turn down this road further, but then the road ends and you have to wander back to the interstate. Maybe I'll camp at the lake sometime and just ride up and down this road all day.
