Picacho Peak. A familiar landmark on the trip from Tucson to Phoenix. Ah, we're going down the frontage road and that's the start of a traffic jam on I-10. A semi jack-knifed up ahead and we just cruised on past on the frontage road. What luck.

Ah, the desert is changing. We're working our way north out of Phoenix. We're going up in altitude and the desert changes.

A little detour on the way. Hrmm, never been here before. These little tourist traps are all over Arizona.

Kate at an old Bar from the 1800's. It was built on the east coast and took a boat ride to the west coast. It started in San Fransciso, then moved to a bar in Nevada by Mule Train. It eventually made it to Phoenix. Each mirror is over an inch thick and weighs over a ton.
