On our way into Wisconsin, we spy a cheese sign off the highway. We HAVE to stop! The power of cheese...
Dave, Lisa and Calista (sp?) in front of the Cheese house. This is the first cheese house Lisa ever visited. I never knew anyone that had never been to a store that was dedicated to selling cheese. I mean...there's candle stores...what's wrong with cheese stores?
I've got my bag of cheese curds! Whoo hoo, you just can't find Cheese Curds in Tucson. They weren't the best I've had, but better than not having them.
Alright! We're at Wisconsin Dells. First stop, the Paul Bunyan restaurant. All-you-can-stand for $9.99. Fish, potato cakes, fried chicken and spagetti.
The mini-golf place looks pretty grown over. Just can't compete with the 27 hole courses in town. Who on earth can play 27 holes of mini-golf?
Hey, a Mexican food restaurant down the street. Mexican food in Wisconsin...I'll pass.
Mind you, Paul Bunyan was much larger than that. There's no way that axe could carve the Mississippi.
Ok, what do we do in the Dells. Tons of brochures to go through.
Lisa has that lumberjack dinner stance. She's at the ready and demanding food.
Me, with some carved bear at the restaurant.
Ooooo, a duck! That's one of the great attractions of Wisconsin Dells. It's a vehicle that does equally bad on both land and water.
